For the past 45 years,
Ebony has compiled a list of who they feel are the Black Americans whose work most powerfully shapes and influences the country. The list is divided into these categories: Government& Politics, Activism, Health, Business, Sports, Philanthropy, Religion, Arts & Letters, Environment, Science & Technology, Entertainment , Media, New Media, Academia, Fashion & Beauty, Military.
This is a particularly inspiring edition of
Ebony. One person I would personally add to the Arts section is tap dancer Ayodele Casele. Check out her
Dancer Spolight on the International Tap Association website.
